Painful My heart really went out to Jack Neo and his family when I viewed the Razor TV coverage of the media conference he and his wife had. I just broke down when I see the kind of pain and remorse that is written all over Jack Neo's face. They didn't say much during the press conference, but I am sure anyone can tell the amount of shame, guilt and anguish Jack is feeling on the inside. And I believe the fact that Mrs Jack Neo had to face the press when she was the victim of his infidelities was the part that added greatest pain to him. Others may choose not to sympathize with his demise because "he deserves it - with great influence comes great responsibility so he should have known better". But I will not choose to be so evil to someone who has gone through what every man would be tempted to go through. To me, marriage is something so fragile...both the husband and the wife have to do alot of compromising and accommodating, and they must fight off everything just to remain intact in the marriage. How is that possible? Love is so great? I admire anyone who has the courage to get married. Really. The past week must be hell for the Neo family...that might be an understatement. I cannot imagine the kind of emotions that is running through the heads of the children and the parents. It is easy to say "I believe in marriage and long lasting love" if a person hasn't gone through it himself or herself. But is it easy for someone who has experienced it close to home to still believe? No, it isn't. This is why I respect and admire anyone who has gone through it, but decided to still believe in marriage and long lasting love. And I really, REALLY want to talk to these people. I'm still a young girl when it comes to relationships and marriage. I feel so immature. I can't go into details and I won't, but lately this whole issue of infidelity in marriage made me think a lot.
