Humility One moment I feel I have mastered confidence. The next moment, something comes up and makes me feel that I have been deluding myself. One moment I feel I have my life under control. The next moment, an unexpected situation crops up. We thought we know something. But we didn't really. Life is full of uncertainty...and it has certainly made me insecure at times. It's true we don't have to become insecure just because life is full of uncertainty...for when things are uncertain, we can still have faith in Him. But that's my weakness you see. It's something that I'm more vulnerable to than in other things. Insecurity is my worst enemy. But when we take a step back, seeing our life from the start to the end, I think we can gain some comfort. Time is a strange concept that only God has mastered completely, and so only God has the expertise and only He can do something wonderful with Time. I guess the bottom line is to be humble. Never think we know it all, experienced it all, thought it all, said it all. Only God is certain. Labels: contemplative 10:27 PM
