Cracking the Dress Code June 19th is Weiqiang and Hellen's wedding at Fort Canning and I'm excited not just because I will be witnessing their matrimony, but that I get to explore the unexplored territory of 'Summer Chic' dress style. That is the dress code they have set for their important event. So WQ & Hellen (if you're reading this), thank you for creating this challenge for me haha. It's a challenge because I do not have pastel colored clothes in my wardrobe AT ALL. Furthermore, pastel colored DRESSES...coz Summer Chic is all about bright colors and, well, usually dresses..... Should we dress beach type of summer chic, or elegant type of summer chic? Coz while both are categorized as summer chic, they are poles apart in the sense of formality....and "chic"...is that supposed to mean very "vogue"? I suppose it's somewhere in between. Hmm. Cracking unique dress codes are fun, but not easy. Guess I'll be shopping for a nice summer dress at Taiwan! Yay! Labels: contemplative, daily rantings 2:26 AM
