Back from Taiwan! I haven't emo-ed for the past 8 days because I had a blast in Taiwan. I suspect that I am under-performing in life, and that's why I have so much time and effort left for emo-ing all these while. Right? I need to do things that I enjoy. But these 8 days that I was away, a lot of things happened back in Singapore...my prayers is with my church even when in Taiwan. The investigation is going to take a loooong time....this means we the church members will have to put up with wagging tongues for a loooong time too. Sigh. Let's be honest here. Nobody likes to be a subject of criticism & controversy right? Nobody likes to be associated with something that is controversial right? The church didn't start up with the aim of being controversial. It happened this way because I believe, of supernatural oppositions. The devil is a real thing. It's not easy when you belong to the side where you are kena criticized along with the church. Or when your friends or family members know you're from City Harvest, they may have their own thinking about the issue but because you're from City Harvest, they suppress the urge to talk about it in front of you. But at the end of the day, I can't control the way people like to think about City Harvest or its members. Even if they are my friends or relatives. But the very least I can do as a member, is to give my support. My friends and relatives are not City Harvest church members, I don't blame them for not understanding or for having their doubts. But me as a member, if I don't give my support, I am not fit to be a member. There is nothing to fear, if we are walking right before God... Labels: daily rantings 12:49 AM
