I think live broadcast video-ing is very important. Determines the level of patriotism and euphoria I feel when watching the whole NDP. I am saying this because I went for NDP 2010 and watched it from the choir's side. Was seated at the blue section. Versus watching last year's parade on TV, I actually prefer last year's NDP. So yup. I suppose it's the whole video focus and effects that make the parade touching for me last year.

Somehow this year's parade felt very short. Haha. But I got to know that parade at Padang only happens once every 5 years, so I do feel blessed being able to attend this year's NDP with my cousins family. The NDP souvenir bag is quite creative and nice too! I like.

Well, I do think and reflect during the course of the parade about being a Singaporean, what it means to me, and also things like what I foresee myself contributing back to this country, how much of an asset will I be for Singapore. Not to mention, being reminded once again that I must not forget how fortunate I am to be living in a place that is safe, contemporary, clean with (generally) cultured people and community.

Glad to hear the phrase "Singapore is a place where success is celebrated". Feels great to live in a place where your efforts get recognized and appreciated.

Time to sleep soon. Short week ahead! Glad. =)
