Do not be afraid Do not be afraid of wit. Do not be afraid of someone else's wisdom and advice masked in the form of criticism. Do not be afraid of someone else who knows more than you. The key to not being afraid is Humility. Be humble enough to know we are not as smart or as good. Be honest enough to admit it, and then make efforts to change and become better. At the end of the day, isn't the person who accepts and change better off than the person who rejects due to pride, and remains at where he/she is? We are not accountable to humans....we are accountable to God & our own conscience. Our character molding, our thought processes, our feelings. So the best bet is to become a humble person. And by God's grace & revelation, it becomes easier to be humble in the midst of a world that encourages just the opposite. Labels: contemplative 8:36 PM
