Nature Republic @ http://nature-republic.com/index.jsp

Much of the information on the website are still in Korean...guess that's how new the brand is.

It has opened its doors at 313 Somerset, which is its 2nd branch in Singapore. =) T3 brought me there on Sunday and introduced this brand to me. I think I'm getting to like this brand much! It's endorsed by RAIN, and is relatively new in Singapore. The first branch is in Bishan J8. Hope to see more of it sprouting around Singapore, ideally AMK coz I live there. Hehe. But Bishan's convenient too!

Anyway, I bought quite alot of stuff until I became a member of it! =x

I like the shop because:
1) Cheap compared to the Face Shop, Etude House, Skin Food, etc.
2) Nice classic packaging and not excessively cute
3) It sells everything from top to bottom for your body
4) Salesperson is VERY friendly & knowledgeable about the products they r selling!
5) Asian product suits asian skin best. Duh? =)
6) Its emphasis on NATURE in its product. Though alot of other products do that too haha.

Some of the stuffs I got from there:
UV Lock Sun Balm SPF 50+ PA+++(Violet) - This is their star product.
Foot Mask - 1 sheet just to try its effectiveness
Cream mask
Makeup spot remover - this is such a brilliant invention!
Lip gloss
Deodorant Foot Spray

And so...I got a free Lipgloss (Real) handphone accessory + Sheet mask. There are also a few other products I would love to try actually, but not necessary for my usage now.

No lar just want to share something. Haha.

Tip #1

Have you ever found applying a layer of lotion or moisturizer over your body is too sticky for comfort and it's a huge chore? Feel frustrated no more, for I have a secret to share with you....TADA!!!!

Get a BODY SCRUB. It is very effective I tell you. No need moisturizer/body butter....just this alone, and you can feel velvety skin after shower. TRY IT IT'S WORTH THE MONEY! After having this you can throw your body butter or lotions aside. Wasteful though. Hah.

Tip #2: Want convenience and effectiveness when it comes to pimples? Want to DESTROY and make pimples flat in 1 day?

The TEA TREE OIL is da bomb. But note - you must be able to take pain when you apply it after you burst your pimple. It's gonna be painful, coz tea tree is considered an antiseptic range. But it works like magic. The next day, you see your pimple dried up. Well, the logical thing to do if you're scared of pain is NOT to burst your pimple! Just apply.

Tip #3: Want smoother feet with effective moisturizing effect, at the same time having your feet feel COOL?
Moisturising Cotton Socks is what you need! They are so cute. I can seriously sleep in them without getting my bed dirty with the lotion (eeks if that happened!). It's "lotion proof"!
After applying some lotion (my recommendation: Peppermint range - Intensive Foot Rescue for really awful and cracked feet), wake up the next day with the lotion all absorbed into your feet, and they will feel velvety. Yay! But for me, my feet not very jialat...so I'm just using the "normal type", ie. Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion.
Really happy coz this feet caring regime is going to save me literally hundreds of dollars at the pedicure's. I can't afford that high a luxury of a foot spa there! Very expensive! DIY better. =D

This song is sung by a beautiful lady who acted in the movie as NANA. This one however is a cover sung by someone else. Weird that the original version by the original singer can't be found. Anyway, Mika Nakashim is pretty without the heavy black goth/visual makeup. As can be seen, Kanebo made the right choice picking her to be the spokesperson of their makeup line, Kate. She is 百变女王!

Blusher: ETUDE HOUSE! Click here for website.

I have been using this "Moonlight Shimmer Blusher No.1 Pink Shimmer" brought back from Korea by my aunt. You can say that I swear by it now when it comes to choosing my ideal blusher. I love the 3 shades, as you create a very natural, rosy and healthy color on your cheeks when applied correctly. I'm almost running out of it, thank God Etude House is opening its FIRST store in PS!! Can check it out there in future. :D

BB Cream/Foundation: Etude House!

I tried the samples of this BB cream brought back by my aunt, and it creates the illusion of flawless skin very well!!! Amazing stuff. It conceals most blemishes well. You probably don't need concealer if you get this, unless your blemish/dark circles are severe. I will get it when it's available locally. In addition, it gives a shine/glow to the skin. Perfect for evenings! :) And usually, it is so good I skip applying foundation as the many layers on the skin makes the face looks cakey instead. It's good to give your face skin air to breathe also. :)

Fyi: BB Cream when applied nourishes your face. Unlike applying foundation, when it suffocates your skin more than it nourishes/moisturizes. :)

Lips: Clinique! Click here for website.

Clinique's lipstick "Color Surge Butter Shine Lipstick" is my most favourite lipstick for the color. My pick will be Baby baby which is a sheer nude pink shade.

Note that: My objective is always to look pleasant & presentable by natural and minimal things applied to the face! ;o) I'm absolutely not qualified to give tips beyond the natural style of makeup. :p Heehee.

See, I'm a super minimalist in makeup. I didn't recommend foundation because I've yet to find one that I'm really satisfied with. Though for an economical one, I recommend Maybelline's Cream Foundation

This shade that I bought worked pretty well for me. I liked it. But when I used it, my skin didn't feel 100% comfortable, I get zits at times. It was great for the price though, the skin looked close to flawless. :) I like CREAM foundation, because liquid foundation feels yucky when applied (I'm trying very hard to finish using my M.A.C liquid fdn :(( ) & powder foundation feels like your face pores kena clogged up.

And, I also didn't recommend other stuff like eyebrow pencil, eyeliners (I prefer those that doesn't run of course, but liquid eyeliner the effect maybe a bit fake), eye shadow....coz essentially I only use black for all of them. Minimalist right? So yeah.
